Disney's Color Brain

For the Love of Disney

The holiday season is wrapping up. If you got a couple of gift cards and are looking to increase your Disney entertainment, Look no further, you will definitely want to grab Color Brain! We were on our annual Black Friday pajama grab at Target and we happened upon this game. We have gotten into playing games, so we were looking for something to expand our collection.  We decided to give it a try as it was only  $13.89. This game has proven to be a fun one; Let’s break it down:

The Premise: This game can be played by 4 individuals or in four teams. Each player has 11 Colour Cards in their hand: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, pink, brown, grey, black and white. A Question card is pulled such as, “What are the colors of Winnie the Pooh? 2 Colors” Each player decides which of your Colour Card(s) answer the question and place them face-down. When everyone’s ready, reveal your cards. You gain points if other players get the answer wrong.

Why we like it: This game was way more exciting and more difficult than we thought it would be.

  1. A lot of times, we thought we knew exactly what color something was, but then were completely surprised it was something else. The game would get intense when we would both get the question right because that point would roll over. The stakes got really high when you have rolled over multiple points.

  1. Another cool aspect of the game was the Colour Capture Card. This card allows you to stop another player from getting too far ahead by stealing 8 Colour Cards at random from their hand. This pretty much guarantees a point for the opposing team.

  1.  This game really forced us to think! We have a newfound appreciation for the artistry that goes on in Disney Films. The artwork is just as important as the storyline and should be appreciated.

This game is great for young and old. You can play it to kill some time and it's an excellent way to have some light-hearted fun with friends. Happy Playing!!
