When we were young, our family visited Disneyland frequently. We were never that family who came in matching shirts, and when Michaela and I started going to Disneyland on own own, we still did not get into matching shirts. Now, we are all about getting matching shirts, and this post is here to explain why we love them so much.
1. Excitement for Pre-planning. When Michaela and I were planning our trip to Disney World, we spent the weeks leading up to the trip figuring out what shirts we wanted to wear to each park. It make the time before the trip really exciting as we planed out the details to our outfits. It also drew out the excitement of going on vacation.
2. Theme shirts for each park. What really made picking shirts exciting was that we picked a shirt for each park. It was fun to think what would be best for each park. Even when we go to the Disneyland Parks, we try to get shirts to match any festivals. For example, we recently made shirts for Pixar Fest that really helped make things special.
3. Easy to find members. Once we get to the park, it’s always easy for us to find each other. This is true even though we do not use a loud color for our shirts. This was extremely important when we got separated after a parade or the fireworks show. TIP: Buying a pair of light up ears can also help when night time rolls around.
4. Makes your trip memorable. I love looking back at pictures of our trip and seeing us in our matching clothes. Its makes our pictures look so put together because we look so coordinated. We do make a point of not “dating” our shirts; we won’t put the year of our trip on our shirts so we can always wear it again without the shirt seeming “old.”
5. We get compliments. In all honesty, it's fun to get compliments from people about our shirts. Michaela designs most of our shirts and spends a lot of time making sure that they look nice. It is so satisfying when people recognize how great we look.
